§ 53.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   (1)   Any person found to be violating any provision of §§ 53.02 through 53.18, except § 53.16, shall be served by the town with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in the notice, permanently case all violations.
      (2)   Any person who shall continue any violation (other than a violation of § 53.03(B)) beyond the time limit provided for herein shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $500 for each violation. Each day in which any violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
      (3)   Any person violating any of the provisions of §§ 53.02 through 53.18 shall become liable to the town for any expense, loss or damage occasioned the town by reason of the violation.
      (4)   (a)   Any person violating or suspected of violating § 53.03(B) shall be subjected to a penalty of $50 per month (or fraction thereof in which the violation occurs).
         (b)   A person may avoid payment of the penalty by consenting to an inspection described in § 53.05(J) for the purpose of establishing compliance with § 53.03(B).
         (c)   A person consenting to an inspection and found in violation shall be given 90 days to comply with § 53.03(B) without being to subject penalty.
