(A) On-street handicap parking spaces shall not be less than State of Indiana Standards and statutes or federal ADA Title II or Title III standards. The designated street and the number of places on a street shall be determined by Town Council. The Street Department will place signage and paint places clearly identifying the handicap parking spaces.
(B) No person shall park or stand any vehicle in a designated handicap parking space except with a handicap place card or handicap license plate issued by the State of Indiana or any other state of the Union Authority. A violation of this provision is punishable by either the Indiana Code as a Class C infraction and/or by this schedule in a fine of no less than $100.
