(A) Pursuant to I.C. 36-10-3, there is hereby created a Department of Parks and Recreation for the town.
(B) All prior ordinances or resolutions creating separate park and recreation authority for the town are hereby repealed.
(C) The Department shall consist of a Parks and Recreation Board, a Superintendent and other personnel that the Council determines.
(D) The Parks and Recreation Board consists of four members to be appointed by the President of the Town Council.
(E) The members of the Parks and Recreation Board shall be appointed on the basis of their interest in and knowledge of parks and recreation, but no more than two members may be affiliated with the same political party. Members of the Parks and Recreation Board must be residents of the town.
