The village water department is hereby authorized to discontinue water service, after a reasonable notice, to any person owning any property where a cross connection exists in violation of this chapter. The village water department may take such other precautionary measures as necessary to eliminate any danger of the contamination of the public water supply system. Water service to such property shall not be restored until such cross connection has been eliminated. (Ord. 955, 6-20-1988)
