5-2-2: PURPOSE:

This chapter is declared necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the people of the village. The purpose of this chapter is to define, prevent and abate nuisances as authorized by section 11-60-2 of the Illinois municipal code . (Ord. 1428, 5-7-2007)
