171.01 CLERK OF THE MAYOR’S COURT.
   (a)   There is hereby established the office of Clerk of the Mayor’s Court.
   (b)   The Clerk of the Mayor’s Court shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of Council.
   (c)   The Clerk of the Mayor’s Court shall have such duties as keeping all dockets and records of such Court, receiving and collecting all fines, costs, fees and other moneys in the administration of such Court, and paying all moneys so collected to the proper parties as prescribed by law and ordered by the Mayor.

   (d)   The Clerk of the Mayor’s Court shall give bond in the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) with sufficient surety for the faithful performance of his or her duties, which bond shall be subject to the approval of Council.
