The Superintendent of Streets and Parks shall be appointed and serve at the pleasure of Council and his or her wage shall be chargeable to the Street Maintenance Fund. The Superintendent of Streets and Parks shall be responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of all Village streets, park areas and storm sewers. All digging in streets and park area and subsequent repair and tapping into storm sewers shall be under his supervision.
