The term of each Commission member shall be three years, except the initial term for the member of the Commission appointed from the Milan Museum shall be one year and the initial term for the member appointed from the Edison Birthplace shall be two years. The current Commission member appointed as a resident shall complete their three year term, the initial term of one newly appointed Commission member who is appointed as a resident or non-resident of the Village shall serve an initial term of one year and the initial term of the second new Commission member who is appointed as a resident or non-resident member shall serve an initial term of three years. The Mayor, the member of Council and the representative of the Erie Metroparks shall be permanent members of the Commission.
