There is hereby created and established a Village of Milan Jenkins Warehouse Commission (hereinafter "Commission") for the Village of Milan, Erie and Huron Counties, State of Ohio. The Commission shall consist of seven members, a member of the Milan Museum, a member of the Edison Birthplace, three resident or non-resident members, the Mayor of the Village, and a Councilperson of the Village. The member appointed to the Commission from the Milan Museum and the member appointed from the Edison Birthplace shall each be recommended to the Mayor by their organization. If the recommended person is acceptable to the Mayor, the Mayor shall appoint him/her to the Commission with the consent of Council. The three resident or non-resident members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council. A representative of the Erie Metroparks shall be an ex officio member of the Commission.
