929.07 SHUT-OFF SERVICE, SEASONAL OR TEMPORARY DISCONTINUANCE.
   (a)    The Village reserves the right to terminate electrical service to any customer for failure to pay their charges duly billed. In the event the Village elects to so terminate, the customer shall receive a final notice stating the date the service shall be terminated, unless a request for an extension, for good cause shown, is received, and shall upon this same notice be advised of the right to an Administrator's hearing prior to termination. Said notice shall include the number of The Erie or Huron County Department of Jobs and Family Services, to direct the customer to assistance. In the event that service is terminated, a reconnection fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) per reconnection, will be charged to the customer, in addition to the past due balance.
   (b)    Where service has been discontinued at customer's request because of seasonal occupancy of the premises or where service has been discontinued at customer's request because the customer's occupancy is to be temporarily discontinued, the minimum charge as above provided shall not be applicable during such discontinuance of service, but in lieu thereof a charge of fifty dollars ($50.00) will me made when service is established.
