(a) Parking of vehicles in the four existing parallel parking spaces along the east side of State Route 601 and directly in front of Milan Elementary School shall be designated during the school year as pick up and drop off zones, and that parking therein should be prohibited Monday through Friday during school hours.
(b) The Village Administrator shall post signs at the designated parking spaces which contain a statement in substantially the following form: “Pick Up and Drop Off Only No Parking School Days”.
(c) A violation of this parking prohibition, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to one predicate motor vehicle or traffic offense, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If, within one year of the offense, the offender has been convicted of two or more predicate motor vehicle or traffic offenses, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
