The Board of Zoning Appeals shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the Mayor and approved by Council. Each member shall be appointed for a period of four (4) years, except that one of the initial members shall be appointed for two (2) years and one of the initial members shall be appointed for three (3) years. In the event of death or resignation of a member, the Mayor, with the approval of Council, shall make the appointment for the duration of the unexpired portion of the term of the member.
