The Village water rates are due and payable on or before the fifteenth day of the month of billing. On all bills not paid in full by the due date a late fee of ten percent (10%) shall be charged on the amount billed. Any account not paid in full within five days after the due date of such bill is delinquent and the Village reserves the right to discontinue the service. In the event Village elects to so terminate, the customer shall receive a final notice stating the date the service shall be terminated, unless a request for an extension, for good cause shown, is received, and shall upon this same notice be advised of a right to an Administrator’s hearing prior to termination. Said notice shall include the number of the Erie or Huron County Department of Human Services, to direct the customer to assistance. In the event of an actual shut-off for nonpayment of bills, there shall be a charge of fifty dollars ($50.00) for reconnection of service. (Ord. 611-07-13. Passed 7-10-13.)
