§ 33.15 STATE FIRE PREVENTION CODE ADOPTED.
   (A)   The Kentucky Standards of Safety (Fire Prevention Code) as promulgated in 815 KAR 10:060 by the Commissioner of the Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction on the advice and recommendation of the State Fire Marshal, is hereby adopted in full as an ordinance of the City of Midway. Copies of the Fire Prevention Code are available through the Department of Housings, Buildings and Construction, 101 Sea Hero Road, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
   (B)   The Midway Fire Chief shall be designated as the local enforcement officer for the standards of safety as appointed by the city.
   (C)   The cost of any permit or fee shall be as specified by ordinance.
   (D)   All final decisions of the fire code official of the city shall be appealable to the City Council pursuant to procedures adopted by the city.
   (E)   Nothing in this section or in the Fire Prevention Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding pending in any court, or any rights acquired, liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action, acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in division (F) below; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this section.
   (F)   Any and all ordinances inconsistent with this section are hereby repealed.
