(A) There is hereby created the non-elected office of Chief of Police.
(B) The powers and duties of this office are hereby established as those contained or set forth in the Kentucky Revised Statutes and those included in the class specifications of the city's classification plan, and related duties as requested or assigned.
(C) The oath of office to be executed by the Police Chief shall be that as set forth in KRS Ch. 228.
(D) Compensation for this office shall be included in the city's compensation plan.
