§ 34.060 PEDDLERS, VENDORS, SALES PERSONS OR SOLICITORS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for peddlers, vendors or solicitors of any kind of goods, including beverages, prepared foods or food products, crafts, artwork, wares or merchandise (except for vendors of fresh unprocessed vegetables, eggs, butter, honey and the like) within the corporate limits of the city, without first having obtained a business license certificate to sell or expose for sale the same.
   (B)   The license fee for the privilege to sell and expose for sale any goods, beverages, prepared foods or food products, crafts, artwork, wares or merchandise within the city shall be and $10 per day in advance for each day the privilege is exercised.
   (C)   The license fee imposed in this section may by Council be collected by a third party if related to an event, or festival sponsored, organized or controlled by a third party. All information required for issuance of a business license must be obtained from each applicant and forwarded to the City Clerk along with fees collected pursuant to this provision within five business days of collection.
   (D)   No business license shall be required for direct sales related to and fundraising efforts of a charitable organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3).
