(A) It shall be unlawful for an itinerant person, firm, corporation or business to sell, or expose for sale, at auction or otherwise, any kind of goods, including beverages, prepared foods or food products, crafts, artwork, wares or merchandise within the corporate limits of the city without first having obtained from the Clerk/Treasurer of the city a business license certificate to sell or expose for sale the same.
(B) The license fee for the privilege to sell or expose for sale any goods, beverages, prepared food or food products, crafts, artwork wares or merchandise within the city shall be $10 per day, paid in advance for each day the privilege is exercised.
(C) The license fee imposed in this section may by Council approval be collected by a third party if related to an event or festival sponsored, organized or controlled by the third party. All information required for the issuance of a business license must be obtained from each applicant and forwarded to the City Clerk along with fees collected pursuant to this provision within 5 business days of collection.
