§ 111.01 DESCRIPTION OF CABLE TV FRANCHISE.
   The franchise to be granted by the city is a nonexclusive franchise to engage in the business of operating and providing a cable television system within the corporate limits of the city, and for that purpose to erect, install, construct, repair, replace, reconstruct, maintain and retain in the city streets, easements, public places and rights-of-way, such poles, wires, cables conductors, ducts, conduits, vaults, manholes, amplifiers, appliances, attachments and other equipment as may be necessary and appurtenant to the cable television system. In the event of subsequent annexation by the city, the franchise holder shall be obligated to furnish cable television service only to those annexed areas with a minimum density of 25 residential dwelling units per cable mile.
