§ 95.03 TREE ADVISORY BOARD.
   (A)   There is hereby created and established a Tree Advisory Board for the city, which shall consist of 7 members, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
      (1)   Members shall be concerned citizens of Woodford County including the following:
         (a)   A landscape architect;
         (b)   An arborist/forester;
         (c)   A member of the Woodford County Planning and Zoning Commission;
         (d)   A horticulturist;
         (e)   A member of Midway City Council;
         (f)   One member at large; and
         (g)   One member of Midway Woman's Club.
      (2)   If a qualified resident of Woodford County cannot be found for division (1)(a), (b) or (d), then the Mayor and City Council can waive the resident requirement.
   (B)   The term of office shall be 2 years, except for the first Board which shall rotate as follows: 3 members shall serve for 1 year, 2 members for 2 years and 2 members for 3 years. The purpose of this rotation is to provide continuity on the Board. The members of the Board will determine for what length the initial appointment for each position shall be. In the event a vacancy shall occur during the term of any appointed member, his or her successor shall be appointed by City Council for the unexpired portion of the term. All members of the Tree Advisory Board shall serve without pay.
