§ 92.03 ABANDONED STORAGE TANKS MUST BE REMOVED OR BONDED.
   Any abandoned underground petroleum products storage tank shall be removed by the owner of the property upon which the tank is located within 6 months from the date of abandonment of the tank, unless the owner thereof deposits a bond with adequate surety with the City Clerk/Treasurer in an amount of 150% of the estimated cost of removal and disposal of the tank in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Upon submission of adequate proof that the underground storage tank is again being used, or has been removed, the bond shall be released.
