1-23-2: DESIGNATION OF THE COOK COUNTY SHERIFF:
The office of the Cook County sheriff is hereby designated as the OIG. The OIG shall serve for an initial term of one year, which shall commence on the adoption of this chapter and expire on July 6, 2017. This office may be reappointed thereafter for additional one year terms by a majority vote of the corporate authorities of the village. The OIG shall serve without compensation from the village.
