(A) The village board recognizes that it is in the best interests of the village to help abate nuisance or trespass on village property or property of others within the village. To further this goal, the village will provide a reward to anyone supplying information leading to the conviction of any person involved in creating a nuisance or trespass on property of the village or of any private person or business.
(B) The village board offers a reward of twenty five dollars ($25.00) for anyone providing information or evidence leading to the conviction in a court of law of any individual who causes a nuisance or trespass on the property of the village or a private person or business. In the instance of one or more individuals providing the evidence or testimony, the reward will be shared.
(C) A nuisance is any action as set forth in this chapter, and includes, but is not limited to, dumping or depositing anything of an offensive nature on a public way or on private property. (Ord. 1551, 7-24-2002)
