It shall be unlawful for any person to keep more than a combined total of three (3) dogs, cats or other animals within the village, except a litter of pups, kittens or other young animals which may be kept for a period of time not exceeding four (4) months from birth. This section shall not apply to any establishment licensed as a pet shop. No kennels are permitted in the village. (Ord. 1563, 1-22-2003)
