6-1-1: CRUELTY TO ANIMALS:
It shall be unlawful for any person to overload, overwork, cruelly beat, torture, mutilate, or cruelly kill any animal, or cause, or knowingly allow the same to be done 1 . (Ord. 4, 5-10-1927)
