Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than the penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code or the maximum allowed by state statutes for each offense; and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during, or on which, such violation occurs or continues. The penalty provisions hereof shall not preclude the municipality from any other legal or equitable remedy available. (Ord. 699, 4-8-1970; amd. Ord. 1362, 9-13-1995)
