(A) Codes Adopted: The 2018 International Mechanical Code and the 2018 International Fuel Gas Code as published by the International Code Council, are hereby adopted and incorporated in full as if set forth at length herein, and shall apply and control within the Village of Midlothian, save and except such portions as hereinafter deleted, modified or amended.
(B) Other Code References: References to other International Codes herein shall mean and apply as follows:
1. International Building Code (IBC) as adopted and amended by the Village of Midlothian.
2. Energy Conservation Code (IECC) as adopted and amended by the State of Illinois and the Village of Midlothian.
3. International Fire Code (IFC) references shall be deleted and replaced with the National Fire Code, 2009 edition published by the National Fire Protection Association, the National Fire Protection Association Code #1, 2009 edition, the National Fire Protection Association Code 101, Life Safety Code, 2009 edition and their subsequent revisions and the whole thereof, except such portions pertaining to the organization, administration, operation, and equipment of the Fire Department and such portions as are otherwise inapplicable to the Village, or as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended by the Village of Midlothian.
4. International Plumbing Code (IPC) references shall be deleted and replaced with the Illinois Plumbing Code as adopted and amended by the Village of Midlothian.
5. International Residential Code as adopted and amended by the Village of Midlothian.
6. International Mechanical Code and the International Fuel Gas Code as adopted and amended by the Village of Midlothian.
(C) Mechanical Code Amendments: The following amendments to the 2018 edition of the International Mechanical Code (hereinafter IMC), shall apply:
1. Section 101 shall name the Village of Midlothian as the jurisdiction and shall state the following: These regulations shall be known as the Mechanical Code of the Village of Midlothian, hereinafter referred as the "Mechanical Code."
2. Section 102.2.1 referencing Existing Buildings is hereby deleted.
3. Section 106.5.2 (Fee Schedule) shall be amended as follows: The fees for work shall be as provided in 4-3-8 of the Village of Midlothian Municipal Code.
4. Section 106.5.3 No. 1 is amended as follows: The full or lesser amount of any fee paid hereunder erroneously paid or collected. Section 106.5.3, No. 2 and 3 specifying percentage of refunds are hereby deleted.
5. Section 108.4 is amended to reference penalties as provided for in 1-4-1 of the Village of Midlothian Municipal Code.
6. Section 108.5 referencing stop work orders is amended in the last sentence to reference fines not less or more than as provided for in 1-4-1 of the Village of Midlothian Municipal Code.
7. Section 109 referencing Means of Appeal is hereby deleted.
8. Section 603.6.1.1 referencing duct length is amended as follows: Flexible air ducts shall not exceed five (5) feet in length.
9. The appendices to the IMC are hereby deleted and not adopted in this Mechanical Code.
(D) Fuel Gas Code Amendments: The following amendments to the 2018 International Fuel Gas Code (hereinafter IFGC):
1. Section 101 shall name the Village of Midlothian as the jurisdiction and shall state the following: These regulations shall be known as the Fuel Gas Code of the Village of Midlothian, hereinafter referred as the "Fuel Gas Code."
2. Section 102.2.1 referencing Existing Buildings is hereby deleted.
3. Section 106.6.2 (Fee Schedule) shall be amended as follows: The fees for work shall be as provided in 4-3-8 of the Village of Midlothian Municipal Code.
4. Section 106.6.3 No. 1 is amended as follows: The full or lesser amount of any fee paid hereunder erroneously paid or collected. Section 106.5.3, No. 2 and 3 specifying percentage of refunds are hereby deleted.
