3-1-12: ASSISTANCE TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT:

It shall be the duty of police officers of the village to aid the fire department by giving alarm in case of fire and by clearing the streets or grounds in the immediate vicinity of a fire, so that members of the fire department shall not be hindered or obstructed in the performance of their duties. (Ord. 1541, 6-12-2002)
