§ 37.067 FRATERNIZATION.
   (A)   While the city encourages amicable relationships between employees, it recognizes that involvement in a romantic relationship may compromise, or create a perception that compromises, an employee's ability to perform their job. Any involvement of a romantic nature between employees within the city requires notification to a department director or the Mayor.
   (B)   Any concerns an employee has in a dating relationship with a co-worker may be brought to the attention of the City Commission or any supervisor in which the employee feels comfortable. The supervisor and employee should follow the guidance in the Sexual and Nonsexual Harassment Policy and/or the Workplace Violence Policy within §§ 37.061 and 37.062 of this chapter. In addition, employees may use the city provided Employee Assistance Program for any relationship issues.
