§ 37.043 DEMOTION.
   (A)   An employee may be demoted upon recommendation of a department director or supervisor, on the Disciplinary Form (HR Form Fifteen), only with the approval of the City Commission.
   (B)   The provisions of KRS 15.520 shall regulate demotions of officers in the Police Department who have completed the introductory period only when involving an external citizen's complaint or any violation of law enforcement procedures and the officer has completed the introductory period.
   (C)   All pertinent documentation of demotions, including the Disciplinary Form, shall be entered into the employee's personnel file.
