For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD. An administrative body created and acting under the authority of the Local Government Code Enforcement Board Act and perform and enforce the duties of a Code Enforcement Board.
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. A city police officer, safety officer, citation officer, administrative officer, alcohol beverage control officer or other public law enforcement officer with the authority to issue a citation, for the city.
ORDINANCE. An official action of a local government body, which is a regulation of a general and permanent nature and enforceable as a local law and shall include any provision of a code of ordinances adopted by the City Commission which embodies all or part of an ordinance, for the city.
