§ 152.024 INSTITUTION IDENTIFICATION SIGN.
   One illuminated freestanding or attached institution identification sign (includes reader boards/changeable copy signs) not to exceed 32 square feet in area and not exceeding ten feet in height for a freestanding sign or the height limit for additional business signs facing each bordering street is allowed on the premises of any community center, church, private school, library, museum or similar institution; provided that, if the institution is located in a district for which a larger business sign would be allowed, then the size of the sign may conform to the size allowed in that district. Two freestanding signs (32 square feet each) per street shall be permitted for street frontages in excess of 600 feet provided that the two signs are a minimum distance of 300 feet apart. In the alternative, one 50 square foot sign shall be permitted for street frontages in excess of 600 feet.
