(A) The City of Middletown shall act on the application for a permit within ten business days after the filing thereof. If the City of Middletown denies the application, in whole or in part, the city shall immediately notify the applicant by telephone, followed by written notice by U.S. mail, or electronic mail, which notice shall state the reason(s) for denial of the permit or any part thereof.
(B) The notice of denial shall include an alternative proposal, if any, made under.
(C) The notice of denial shall advise the applicant of his or her or its rights to appeal the decision to the full City Commission at its next regular City Commission meeting, or a meeting specially called to consider the appeal.
