(A) The city shall be governed by an elected officer who shall be called Mayor and by elected legislative body members who shall be called City Commissioners and which together shall be known as the City Commission, and by other officers and employees as may be provided for by statute or city ordinance.
(B) The City Commission shall be composed of the Mayor and four Commissioners.

(C) Pursuant to KRS 83A.140 and 83A.040, the legislative body of this city shall be made up of four Commissioners elected at large by the voters of the city at a regular election. Their terms of office shall begin on the first Monday of January following their election and shall be for two years and until their successor qualifies, except as provided by KRS 83A.050. A Commissioner shall be at least 21 years of age, shall be a qualified voter in the city and shall reside in the city throughout his or her term of office.
(D) All other provisions of KRS Chapter 83A where applicable are adopted as if specifically incorporated herein.
