§ 1002 NOTIFICATION OF WATERCOURSE ALTERATION.

   (A)   In a riverine situation, the Floodplain Manager shall notify the following of any alteration or relocation of a watercourse:

      (1)   Adjacent communities

      (2)   NFIP State Coordinator
         Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency
         645 New London Avenue
         Cranston, RI 02920

      (3)   Risk Analysis Branch
         Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region I
         99 High Street, 6th Floor
         Boston, MA 02110

   (B)   The carrying capacity of the altered or relocated watercourse shall be maintained.
