(A) No person in the town shall publicly or for any pay or profit or advantage to himself operate or promote any roller coaster, merry-go-round or whip, so-called, or any other public amusement of a like character without first having obtained a license for that purpose from the Council.
(B) Every person taking such license shall pay to the Treasurer the sum of $20.
