Said license holder, management and employees shall present a valid certification of successful completion of an alcohol server training program certified by the Rhode Island Department of Mental Health, Retardation and Hospitals. New employees shall be allowed 60 days after hire to obtain said certification. Failure of an employee to be certified within 60 days of hire or failure of an existing employee to be certified within 60 days of the passage of this section shall result in the employee being ineligible to work in the licensed business until a certificate is presented. An extension of time for certification may be granted for good cause by the Board of License Commissioners.
(C) In the case of a Class D license, the person responsible for the day-to-day operation of the club and all employees of the establishment, shall be required to complete such a training program.
