All statements and information relating to the installation and location of a system given to the Police Chief or the Fire Chief, or their respective designees, shall be maintained in strict confidence and may be made public only when required in a prosecutive action resulting from the violation of any provision of this chapter or by order of a court of appropriate jurisdiction.
