§ 37.070 LEAVE DEFINED.
   For the purposes of this chapter, the term LEAVE shall mean any authorized absence during regularly scheduled work hours that is approved by proper authority. Leave may be authorized with or without pay. Absence without leave is considered unauthorized absence.
