Whenever the Personnel Board determines that an application shall be rejected, the applicant shall be notified in writing of such rejection. Applications, whether accepted or rejected, shall remain on file and shall not be returned. Applications may be disposed of from time to time upon determination that they are of no further value to the town, to the extent permitted by state and federal law.
