Any applicant qualifying for tax deferral pursuant to this section shall remain eligible for any and all tax exemptions allowed by the town for which they are eligible and have qualified at the time of enrollment in the tax deferment program established hereby. Provided however that such exemptions shall not be increased by any automatic annual increase set forth in any local laws or ordinances during the period in which taxes are deferred.
