This chapter is adopted pursuant to the provisions of the Rhode Island Small Cell Siting Act, Chapter 32 of Title 39 of the Rhode Island General Laws, for the purpose of establishing standards for the location of small wireless communications facilities in public ways within the Town of Middletown. These regulations are intended to protect and promote public safety, community welfare, and the aesthetic quality of the town consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the Middletown Comprehensive Community Plan, while providing for the development of small wireless telecommunications.
