§ 33A.145 AUTHORITY OF THE PURCHASING AGENT TO SETTLE BID PROTESTS AND CONTRACT CLAIMS.
   The purchasing agent is authorized to settle any protest regarding the solicitation or award of a town contract, or any claim arising out of the performance of a town contract, prior to an appeal to the Town Council or the commencement of an action in a court of competent jurisdiction.
