For the license to be issued under the provisions of this chapter, each applicant shall pay to the Municipality ten dollars ($10.00). For renewal of a license to be issued under the provisions of this chapter, each applicant shall pay to the Municipality five dollars ($5.00). All licenses issued hereunder shall be for a period of one year or less which period shall end on December 31 of the calendar year in which they are acquired, regardless of the date such license is issued.
