501.16 REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS RELATED TO OPIOID TREATMENT RECEIVED BY A REPEAT OPIOID OFFENDER.
   (a)   Any person who is the subject of more than one emergency service call by the Village Police, EMS, or the Village-funded ambulance services, or any combination thereof, for treatment for actual or suspected narcotics ingestion or overdose, shall reimburse the Village the amount of $666.33 for each treatment in excess of the first treatment.
   (b)   Upon the request of Council, the Village Solicitor shall seek to collect such amount from the above described person and/or his or her parent or guardian, in a court of appropriate jurisdiction.
