139.04 OTHER POLICE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES.

   (a)   (EDITOR’S NOTE: Former subsection (a) was repealed by Ordinance 13-124, passed July 11, 2013.)

   (b)   Dispatcher. There is hereby created the position of Dispatcher within the Police Department. Dispatchers shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Council. Dispatchers shall perform communications services and such other related tasks as shall be assigned to them by the Chief of Police, the Mayor or the Council.
