135.07 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/BILLING CLERK.
   The Administrative Assistant/Billing Clerk shall assist the Village Administrator and shall fulfill such duties as may be assigned to him/her by the Village Administrator, the Mayor and/or Council.
   (a)   Appointment. The Administrative Assistant/Billing Clerk shall be appointed by the Mayor, upon the advice of the Village Administrator. Said appointment shall be confirmed by a majority of the members elected to Council.
   (b)   Bond. Before assuming the position, the Administrative Assistant/Billing Clerk shall qualify for and obtain a fidelity bond in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), conditioned upon the faithful performance of his/her duties, with a surety satisfactory to Council and licensed to do business in the State of Ohio. Such bond shall be filed with the Fiscal Officer after being approved by Council. The cost of such bond shall be borne by the Village.

   (c)   Responsibilities and Duties. The Administrative Assistant/Billing Clerk shall perform all functions delegated to him/her by the Village Administrator, as well as such other specific duties and responsibilities assigned by the Mayor and/or Council. In the event that the Fiscal Officer Assistant provided by Section 133.03 is an unfilled position, the Mayor may assign the responsibilities for the Fiscal Officer Assistant to the Administrative Assistant/Billing Clerk.

   (d)   Tenure. The Administrative Assistant/Billing Clerk shall serve at the pleasure of the Council.
   (e)   Job Description. The Village Administrator shall prepare a written job description for the Administrative Assistant/Billing Clerk, which shall be approved by the majority of the members of Council.
