901.02 ESTABLISHING STREET NAMES FOR STREETS OR HIGHWAYS ANNEXED INTO THE VILLAGE.
   (a)   Any street or highway, or portion of a street or highway, which becomes a Village street by reason of future annexation shall have the same name as the Village street the newly annexed street or highway joins in a continuous route.
   (b)   Any existing street or highway which, due to prior annexation events, became a Village street, shall be known by the same name as the Village street which the annexed street joined such that any continuous street or highway in the Village shall have the same name throughout its length, excepting the designation of north or south (for State Street) and east and west (for High Street).
   (c)   Whenever annexation has occurred, or will occur, on only one side of a street or highway, the side of the street annexed into the Village shall be known by the same name as the existing Village street which the annexed street joins.
