(a) In accordance with Ohio R.C. 735.271, there is hereby created the position of Village Administrator. The salary and benefits of the Village Administrator shall be set forth by Council.
(b) After the effective date of this section, the appointment of the Village Administrator by the Mayor, and his confirmation by Council, the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs shall be abolished in accordance with the provisions of Ohio R.C. 735.272, and other positions in the Village in conflict with the duties of the Village Administrator shall be abolished at the earliest time allowed by law.
