(a) "Public place" means any public street, highway or public park or any property owned by the Village within the boundaries of the Village.
(b) "Tree" means any tree, ornamental plant, bush or shrub.
(c) "Forestry" or "tree surgery" includes treating, spraying, pruning and other kinds of work intended for the strengthening of trees and removal and prevention of tree pests of all kinds and descriptions.
(d) "Village" includes, where appropriate herein, the actions taken in behalf of the Village pursuant to this chapter by the Mayor, Council, Village employees, agents, representatives and contractors.
