Each water charge levied pursuant to this chapter, together with any penalty assessed therefor and any interest accrued thereon, constitutes a lien upon the premises charged therewith and if the same is not paid within ninety days after it becomes due and payable, it shall be certified to the Geauga County Auditor, who shall place such charge upon the tax duplicate, together with all interest and penalties allowed by law. Such charges shall be collected as other municipal taxes are collected.
